Hirely is a two-sided marketplace that connects companies with pre-vetted remote talent — cutting hiring cycles from weeks to hours. The platform handles candidate onboarding, skill verification, company job posts, and a matching engine that surfaces the right candidates instantly.

The Problem

Challenge

Manual resume screening was creating 2–3 week hiring cycles and a poor experience on both sides. Recruiters were drowning in unqualified applicants; talented candidates were ghosted. The client needed an intelligent system that could score and rank candidates against roles in real time — and make both sides feel valued.

Our Approach

Solution

We built a profile-based matching engine that scores candidates against open roles using weighted skill vectors. The recruiter portal shows a ranked shortlist; the candidate portal shows role-fit scores and missing skills. We implemented real-time notifications via Supabase Realtime, Stripe for subscription billing, and a clean onboarding flow that converts 70% of signups to active profiles.
