The Project

Clerkly is an internal workflow automation platform that integrates with the tools teams already use — Slack, Notion, Gmail — and automates the repetitive ops work that quietly consumes hours every day. Built for an operations-heavy team scaling from 15 to 60 people.

The Problem

Challenge

The ops team was spending 3+ hours daily on manual data entry, approval chains, and status updates spread across 6 different tools. Nothing was automated. Approvals got lost in Slack threads. Reports had to be compiled by hand. As the team grew, the manual overhead was compounding and slowing everything down.

Our Approach

Solution

We built a visual workflow builder that lets non-technical ops staff create automations using a drag-and-drop interface. Triggers fire from Slack messages, Gmail labels, or form submissions. Each workflow step can update a Notion database, send a Slack DM, move a task, or fire an API call. A unified inbox surfaces all pending approvals in one place.
